Our flying insect trap combines up to three precision LED light strips emitting a targeted blend of UV and visible wavelengths to attract a wide range of species.  

A continuously running fan draws insects into a collection chamber containing a propylene-glycol preservation solution, ensuring specimens remain intact for accurate identification.  

Designed for permanent installation with a stable power supply, this trap is ideal for use in bonded warehouses and other high-risk environments where early detection of foreign or invasive insect species is critical to maintaining biosecurity standards.

Made from PETG and employing a 12 volt power supply, high quality LED strips and a PC grade cooling unit  this product is built to last.  Designed internally in partnership with the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Australia.
